> Geoff has joined the Board of Directors of the Polymer Society
> Geoff is a member of the Expert Reference Group for the Design Council's, NHS-funded, Design for Patient Dignity initiative.
> January 2010 — a one-day open innovation event for a major airline was organised by Geoff with the Materials-KTN, with the goal of vehicle light-weighting through design and materials innovation.
> 20 January 2010 — Geoff chaired a conference — Moving design upstream in Research and Development — jointly hosted by the R&D Society and the Materials KTN.
